Privacy Policy
Your privacy matters. This Policy describes how CDS handles your information across the platform.
Privacy Policy — Client Direct Solution (CDS)
-
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how CDS (Client Direct Solution) collects, uses, protects and shares your information when you use our platform. By using CDS, you consent to the practices described here.
-
2. Information We Collect
We collect company and account details (company name, registration ID, tax ID, point of contact, email, phone), the certificates and documents you upload, requirement and proposal content, subscription and payment references, and technical data such as log and usage information.
-
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to operate the platform: to verify and grade Service Providers, publish and match requirements, facilitate proposals and awards, process subscriptions and commissions, communicate with you, and maintain the security and integrity of the service.
-
4. Documents & File Handling
Uploaded documents — certificates, scopes of work, technical and commercial proposals, and signed agreements — are stored on secure, access-controlled storage. Requirement documents and proposals are shared only with authorised parties in line with the platform’s confidentiality rules.
-
5. Sharing & Disclosure
We share information only as needed to provide the service: requirement details with matching, verified Service Providers; proposal details with the issuing Client after the applicable stage; and information with service providers acting on our behalf (e.g. hosting, email). We do not sell your personal data.
-
6. Legal Basis & Compliance
Where required, we process data to perform our contract with you, to comply with legal obligations (including compliance and sanctions screening), and for our legitimate interests in operating a secure marketplace.
-
7. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, and thereafter as required to comply with legal, tax and audit obligations. Deactivating your account preserves your data so you can return; deletion requests are handled subject to those obligations.
-
8. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including access controls, encryption in transit, and time-limited, signed links for sensitive document downloads. No system is completely secure, and you use the platform at your own risk.
-
9. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.
-
10. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences (such as language). These are necessary for the platform to function.
-
11. International Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where it is, we take steps to ensure an appropriate level of protection consistent with this Policy.
-
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the platform, and continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
